Anderlecht communal administration

The municipality of Anderlecht and its college is very concerned with the FEFA project. The sports or prevention Deputy Burgomaster of Anderlecht is traditionally the chairman of the board of directors.

Anderlecht finances the NPO by covering the salaries of the employees, through subsidies granted to the prevention and security service. The city also provides sports infrastructure located in Transvaal Street.

Over the years, a collaboration has been developed with many municipal services, in particular the School Antenna (Antenne Scolaire), the peacekeepers and the sports service of the city.

In 2021, the ASBL should normally benefit from a cafeteria, changing rooms and new paving for the field. The surrounding area will be redeveloped. “Having access to quality infrastructure plays on the motivation of young people and their development. But also, we hope, on the involvement of parents. This is an important issue”, comments Julien Milquet.

For future projects, the FEFA also intends to strengthen ties with the Sporting of Anderlecht (« for whom we are a social showcase », comments Julien Cuxac) and to encourage associative networking. Along these lines, it is participating in the “Educasport” project – it shares its expertise in school drop-out with other educational sports clubs (taekwondo, basketball and badminton).
